SMIZYME PHYTASE
Smizyme is an enhanced E. coli 6-phytase with excellent stability and high biological efficiency designed to breakdown far more phytate. Smizyme was successfully developed by Beijing Smile Feed Sci. & Tech. Co., Ltd. and experts from the Biotechnology Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science (CAAS). Smizyme has been successfully used in poultry and swine formulations in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East for almost two decades and was introduced into the US market in 2017. Since that time, Smizyme has been used by top integrators, feed companies and premixes to improve efficiency and profit potential.
SMIZYME XYLANASE
Smizyme Xylanase is an endo-1,4-β-xylanase which can hydrolyze xylan existing in grain feed cell wall. It helps to reduce viscosity of digesta, enhance the contact between nutrient and digestive enzymes, and optimize nutrient digestion and utilization rate. Smizyme Xylanase has a high relative activity in a wide range of pH, making it suitable for the gastrointestinal tract of monogastric animals. It also has a good tolerance to acid and pepsin and has excellent temperature resistance for pelleted feeds.
Barentz is the exclusive distributor of Smizyme Phytase and Smizyme Xylanase North America for Beijing Smile Feed.
